Description
This is the sale of section 1 of the Coburg Reserve which consisted of some 560 acres on the east side of Sydney Road. There may be some 35 acres in this sale. On the Monday following the auction advertisements appeared for the sale of section 2 and declaring that section 1 was a “Phenomenal Success” with land selling for between £1-14-0 and £2-19-0 per frontage foot. This sale has land that starts on the south side of Argyle Street and heads south along Sydney Road and Albert Street to the south side of Queens Parade.
