Description
This development from October 1920 takes in section of the north side of Barkers Road from Loxton Street, through Walsh and Ross Streets to the MCC Kew Sports Club. Then through to the south side of Mount Street. Of the 51 lots it seems 33 sold as the auctioneer has penciled in the sale prices. These are clear on the printed poster. The most expensive went for £5 the lowest price was £1-18-0 per frontage foot. So Lot 33, on the corner of Ross Street, sold for 68 times £5 – that’s £340.
