Photographed by the Victorian Railways’ photographer around 1937. The Ballarat Tramway Museum has a postcard upon which some one has written that the year was 1937. There are many pre-WW II cars parked in the street.  The image captures the scene looking west from Bridge Street (Mall) along Sturt Street.  Two trams appear to be heading into Bridge Street.
