Bendigo, looking west on Pall Mall ca. 1945-54

Description

We are on Pall Mall in Bendigo and looking west.  There is a car rally assembling on the right and the shoppers are about their business.  The Shamrock Hotel is in the mid-distance and seems to have a large sign on its wall “6 O’clock” and a clock face set to 6.  One can still see traces of the sign on the wall today.
