Description
A subdivision of some 176 building lots. Bounded in the west by Beach Road both sides of Eliza Street in the north, Bluff Road in the east and both sides of Thomas (now Middleton) Street in the south. Sarah, O’Connor, Smeed and Love Streets run through the development. At the time blocks were being offered at between £15 and £50 each. It seems the reserves for the school, hospital, alms house and benevolent asylum were forgotten.
