Description
There were many advertisements for this estate running through September to November 1888 for an auction on the 17th of November 1888, as the land boom was ending. This poster is from 1891 and is offering the estate for sale on a private basis. The prices written on the poster are relatively high, £8-0-0 to £9-15-0. The development itself runs from the west side of Burke Road along both sides of Mayston Street and the northern side of Harold Street. It runs all the way through to Camberwell Road.
