Only one person appears to be happy about having their photograph taken, Grandma is reading the paper, daughter with the spade is worried that she cannot find her bucket, daughter far left is wondering where the birdie is and the son, at the back, is going to make his father eat the stupid hat.
Description
This image was taken by G. G. M. Photographer (probably George Gillespie Murray) on the 16th of January 1915. There are 2 versions of the picture, the second has a man sitting to the left – maybe the photographer – and lots of movement. In this image everyone has kept still.
