Description
The original poster at the State Library of Victoria is in two pieces this is composite of the two sections. The development starts on the north west corner of Arthurton and St Georges Roads and extends north to Elm Street and west for approximately 120 metres. St Georges Grove is now Gracie Street. In the newspaper advertisements for the subdivision the esate is referred to as “The New Bridge Estate” – the bridge being that on Arthurton Road over the Merri Creek.
