Description
Private sale of 30 allotments starting on the south west corner of Riversdale and Auburn Roads and running south down the western side of Auburn to about where Harts Parade meets Auburn Road. The allotments then continue further south on Auburn starting about where Invermay Grove meets Auburn. The allotment then spreads out to reach Robinson Street and runs unbroken to Scott Street. The State library of Victoria has the sale during the 1870s. I have found one advertisement for the land in the Argus of the 4th December, 1878 where Mr. Finlay J. MacDougal is offering the allotments at £2 per frontage foot.
