Description
A hand drawn poster from 1913 and the Golf Links they refer to are the “Riversdale Golf Links” which took a ten year lease on land on the north side of Camberwell Road in 1907. There were 76 lots up for sale but only 18 sold at amounts between £1 and £1-15-0 per frontage foot. Although Lot 39 may have sold for £2-10-0. The subdivision covers Hazel Street, Donna Buang Street and small sections of Glen Iris Road, Pippin (now Seville) Road, Orange Road and Athelstane Road.
