The auctioneers did not spend up big on the advertisements for this sale. They ran for maybe 10 days and the last few were just small classified teasers. I could not find any reports on how well the auction went. The subdivision starts on the eastern side of The Esplanade/St Kilda Street and runs along both sides of Grosvenor Street to the western side of New Street. There is some flexibilty in the actual allotment structure with a road/right-of-way going through lot 10 and part of lot 30 being sold to the buyer of lots 25 to 29 – now part of Brighton Grammar Junior School.
