Indented Head beach and bathing area ca. 1950s
$16.50 – $49.50
Rose postcard P. 4952 from the 1950s showing the swimming beach, some dinghies and holiday makers avoiding the sun.
Description
Indented Head is a very popular holiday destination on the Bellarine Peninsular between Portarlington and St Leonards. We are on the beach looking north east along the beach. This appears to be the main bathing area although there are a number of small dinghies on the shore. There are also number of cars parked on the sand which seems to have been a common/accepted practice.
