Description
164 allotments for sale at close to the end of the “Land Boom”. The poster is exceptional. In a newspaper advertisement the vendor says that the artwork is by Mr. Woodhouse but I could not see any reference to him. The development is on the south side of Moreland Road just to the east of City Link. Ewins Parade is likely to be where Lyne Grove is today. The auction may not have been a total success as the layout of the roads is quite different to today, City Link not withstanding.
