Description
What a grand development. This was a poster for the private sale of over 1,000 blocks. The surveyor, Saxil Tuxen, was renowned for his design of “Garden Suburbs”. The poster covers a large number of streets – included are Gellibrand Crescent, Hobbs Crescent, Chauvel Street and Botha Avenue. Just above this text and to the right is a small heading – “Tags” – there is a full list of the streets there.
