Port Albert, looking south east on Tarraville Road ca. mid 1950s
$16.50 – $49.50
A Rose postcard from mid 1950s showing the Tarraville Road in Port Albert.
Description
The Rose photographer is on Tarraville Road looking towards the intersection with Bay and Victoria Streets. Given the car number plates the year is likely to be around the mid 1950s. The “General Merchants” store on the right is now a cafe and wine bar and no longer sells petrol. The “Ship Inn” building has gone but the building beyond still exists. The “General Store” on the left is now a Maritime Museum.
