It is 1946 and we are in Portland. Charles Daniel Prat is pointing his camera south-east from over the sea. Julia Street is just on the right and Gawler Street runs from around 9 o’clock to 2 o’clock. Mac’s Hotel is on the corner with Bentinck Street.
