Description

The auctioneers did well with the first sale and this second sale did equally as well. From the “Weekly Times” of the 28th March:-

Mr F. L. Flint (in conjunction with Mr W.J. Butcher) reports the second sale of Prospect Hill Extension, at Camber well, on Saturday afternoon. There was an immense attendance, and every one of the fifty-two lots sold after eager competition. The Railway Commissioners having opened the railway footpath caused prices to be better than at the previous Satur- day’s sale, and ranged from 15s to 32s, the total sale being £3,796 13s 6d.

The lots included in the second sale are colored light green – numbers 76 to 127.
