This sale has a number of the lots that were in an 1884 auction – they may not have sold or are being re-offered – and includes extra lots north of Abbott Street.  The artist/auctioneer has let their imagination run wide – “The Manly Beach of Melbourne” or “The Real Brighton of Victoria”. Great graphics and colors. The streets covered include Beach Road Abbott, Waltham, Trentham, Beaumont, Bamfield and Melrose Streets, plus Fernhill and Sandringham Roads.  Again we are fortunate that the price of a few blocks have been pencilled in – prices have doubled in the two years.  Lot 52 in this sale went for 77/6 per foot in 1884 the same lot (with minor changes) 17 sold for 33/-.
