A Rose postcard number P. 755 of the main road in Sassafras taken from near the intersection with Woodlands Avenue.
Description
The Rose photographer is on an early version of the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road looking north east. On the right is R. I. Sherrard’s store – the first advertisement for which seems to appear around 1912. The baker and his cart occupy the centre – the name on the cart appears to be L. De Juge from Belgrave.
