Description
What a great subdivision and the vendor is going for a private sale. There is even a list of the prices – bottom right. The State Library of Victoria has the date in the 1880s but I have some doubts. In 1930 a person went bankrupt and part of the assets was lot 97 in Stutt’s Estate. The value listed in 1930 was £100 and the amount paid was £100. If the development was in the 1880s it would have to have been an auction as prices were moving so quickly. Just as a guess I might opt for early twenties. The subdivision itself is on Station Street as it reaches Bushy Creek and covers Clyde Street, Loddon Street, Wimmera Street, Ovens Street, Shannon Street, Goulburn and Campaspe Streets.
