Description
Lots of advertisements leading up to this sale but all quiet after that. It does look like lots 2 and 3 have sold prior to the day making 40/-, that’s £2 per frontage foot – twice the reserve price. The subdivision starts on the western side of St Georges Road between the north side Wilson Street (now Beaconsfield Parade) and both sides of Sladen Street (now Gadd Street) and then extens west to the eastern side of Arthur Street (now Leinster Grove). Sargood (now Emmaline) Street runs east/west through the subdivision.
