All the advertisements for this auction referred to the area as being between Wood and Tyler Streets. There must have been earlier sales for the northern section. I could find no reports on the success of the sale of this section. There are 89 allotments which start on the eastern side of Plenty Road between Malpas and Wood Streets and extend eastward along the southern side of Malpas and the northern side of Wood Street to the western side of Donald Street. Streets covered include Rona Street (now Selby), Centre Street (now McColl) and Dunstan Street (now Stepney).
