Description
An image taken on a half plate glass negative around 1923 or a little bit later. The lighting is very flat but we have great detail in the clothing and faces of those captured. We can date the image from the movie posters for the local theatre – “Turn to the Right” came out in 1922 and “The Service Star” in 1918. The photographer is unknown and the original negative is with the State Library of Victoria.
