Listed as being Croydon but destined to be Chirnside Park this aucton is centered around Stanley Road (now Street) and Arthur Road. The subdivision starts on the north side of Black Springs Road and extends from the west side of Stanley Road to the east side of Arthur Road and then north to the northern end of Arthur Road – at this point it is now called Stanley Street. I am not sure how well the sale was accepted but there were only a few advertisements for the remaining blocks in February 1922.
