Description
The first advertisements for “The Pinnacle Estate” Burwood were for the 31st of March 1924 which was rained out and the Auction postponed until the next Saturday. It seems that of the 94 allotment on the original subdivision some 45 (if you count the coloured allotments) or 41 if you believe the writing on the poster are still for sale 2 years later. I could find no reports on the success or otherwise of this sale. The original subdivision starts on the east side of Boundary (now Warrigal) Road and extends east along Donald Road (both sides) to Simmonds Road (the western side) then south to the northern side of Loudoun (now Loudon) Road. Wallace Road runs east west through the subdivision.
