Description
A massive subdivision of 176 lots from 1883- 57 sold prior to the sale date and the production of the poster. There is no indication of the sale prices. The area is bounded by Harp Road (now Belmore) in the north, Elgar Road in the east, Seymour Road (now Strabane) in the south and Boundary Road (now Boondara) in the west. Many of the street have had their names changed, Tyrrell Road used to be Tower, Arnott was Alexandria, Kerr Road has disappeared, Wolseley Parade has been taken over by Box Hill Crescent, Allison, Mitchell and Cairo however have hung on for nearly 130 years.
