Description
Hair and Gill have 150 allotments for sale on the south east corner of Canterbury and Middleborough (was Britnells) Roads. The subdivision heads east and south from the corner – east to Aberdeen Road and south to Edinburgh Road, picking up Craig, Agnew, Aye and Perth Streets. The blocks were all “regular” size apart from Lot 1 and those along Aberdeen Road. Eleven days after the auction different solicitors were offering for sale 3½ acres – 20 or so allotments. That is a very quick flip.
