Golf View Estate 2nd December 1916 – Camberwell

The sale was postponed but I could not see any newspaper notices advertising the change in date. There were notices announcing the sale and the developments outstanding position “.. overlooking the beautiful Riversdale Golf Course”. The was a newspaper notice in October 1918 – two years later – giving the results of the previous Saturday’s sale. The auctioneer was a different firm, so probably not a printer’s error. In the 1918 sale lot 1 sold for £228. The Kew Historical Society has a copy of the 1918 poster.
