Description
The poster does not say it but the estate went to auction on the 14th of November, 1885. Another auction was scheduled for the 10th of December. The auctioneer also sold the “Shrublands Estate”. The edges of the poster are rough but I have left them that way – the map area is fine. The development starts on the north west corner of Canterbury and Balwyn Roads, extends west to the east side of Daphne and north to both sides of Erica Street. A number of lots were sold before this poster was printed.
