Melbourne’s Royal Women’s Hospital Lonsdale Street late 1920s
$16.50 – $49.50
Queen Victoria Hospital on the corner of Swanston and Lonsdale Streets – late 1920s
Description
Originally called the Royal Women’s Hospital (which moved) this was renamed the Queen Victoria Hospital. It is interesting to see the number of beds on the open balconies. Maybe a TB epidemic.
