An auction from the 13th of October, 1888, a number of the lots have been marked as “sold” however lots 45 to 50 and lot 32 re-appeared for sale just 3 weeks later on the 7th of November, 1888.  This would have been the peak or the end of the “Land Boom”. Interestingly when researching auctions earlier auctions often have results reported on the local papers in the next week. For auctions in 1888, while there are many advertisements for the sale, there are few reports on the out comes. There is a tear in the heading that has not bee restored.
