Description
A relatively rough poster from 1900. I have left it that way but if you would like it smartened up, just ask. Lot 22 was a mansion site which was later redeveloped. I understand that “Tim the Toyman” had a house on the north east corner on the avenue and Canterbury Road. The red pencil shading may indicate that the lot sold on the day – lots 9 and 10 going to the one purchaser at £2-10-0 per frontage foot. That works out at £200 per block. The development extends north on Monomeith to about nos. 24 and 27 Monomeith Avenue.
