Description

This poster seems to be for the private sale of 100 lots. There is no date on the poster but given the newspaper report from the Argus on Monday the 28th of April, 1924 it is likely to be 1923 or very early 1924.

SUBURBAN PROPERTY SALES.
On Saturday afternoon at East Camberwell Mr.
T. M. Burke (Mr. J. L. Hedigan auctioneer)
offered for sale by auction a subdivision known
as the Holyrood Estate. There was an attendance
of about 1,000 and the bidding was keen. The
64 blocks sold realised £21,000. In Rivcrsdale
Road prices ranged from £7/5/0 to £8/10/0  a foot;
in Wattle Valley Road, from £6 to £6/5/0 a
foot.

So at least 64 lots were still available in April 1924. The development starts on the south side of Riversdale Road and runs south until Hunter Street covering Wattle Valley Road, Holyrood Street, Domonic Street and Highfield Road.
