Description
41 lot subdivision in Canterbury the gives a hint as to the history of the area. Who owned the land along Canterbury Road in the area, where was the local station for the Outer Circle Line, and how did Canterbury Girls SC get to be where it is. History gets a little confused – was Gwinda Avenue (now Gwenda) just a spelling mistake? What happened to Malaca Road – just another mistake? Judging from some of the hand writting on the map lots were going for 35/- per frontage foot.
