Description
Troedel & Co. have gone all pastel on us here. A very smooth poster from 1886. There is some mark over the terms and I have left it there – interest rates may have changed and the auctioneer has smudged the rate over. There is also a small bite out of the edging on the right – I’ve left that as well. The names of the purchasers has been added and the prices paid for some blocks on Griffiths Road – 25/-, 27/- and 28/- per frontage foot. The development starts on Griffiths Road and runs between the south side of Glenhuntly Road and the north side of Goe Street – it spreads west to about 110 metres of Bambra Road (on the map it is 374 feet 6 inches).
