Description
This poster came in two parts and they have been joined in this image. In 1888 a company was formed to acquire and subdivide the land of Messrs Mountjoy Brothers. The land totalled 197 acres and included Erstine House. The area colored in red would be the Mountjoys’ land. The company was still functioning in 1944 – remarkable given the land booms and busts that they saw.
