I found only one advertisement for this auction – The Argus 21 February 1902 page 2. The advertisement mentions 50 allotments of land but only 48 are shown on the poster. The subdivision starts on the south east corner of Allison Road and Wilson (now Morton) Street and heads east towards Kooyong Road but stops just over Meaney Street. It extends south to cover both sides of Edward Street. It seems blocks with existing building have been excluded from the sale.
