Description
86 allotments for sale and only 6 months or so to the end of the “Land Boom”. Newspaper reports say that all allotments sold to “excited keen competition”. Allotments sold from £2 to £5-19-0 per frontage foot. The subdivision runs along both sides of Close and Hemmings Streets from Robinson Street and Melbourne Road (now the Princes Highway) westward to Weist Lane (not shown on the poster).
