Description
The land being sold was put up by the Metropolitan Building Society who may have named one of the streets – since changed to Bell Street. I could find no reports on the success of the sale but given that six lots along Swan and one block on Coppin have already been sold they may have done well. The development starts on the north west corner of Swan and Coppin Streets heads west to the east side of Mary Street and north to about where there is a curve in Bell Street.
