Sassafras, looking south west along the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road – late 1930s
$16.50 – $49.50
A Rose postcard number P. 4269 of the main road in Sassafras taken from near the intersection with Mountain Highway.
Description
The photographer is on the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road looking south west. Great capture of the petrol station on the right with some near new “Super Plume Ethyl” signs. That would put the date sometime after 1934ish and the presence of the three gravity bowsers means that it is before 1940ish.
