Description
The lots are marked out in two sections, the northern part – lots 1 to 121 and the southern, lots 255 to 304. The advertisement for the sale quoted 120 villa blocks and 55 shop sites. I could find no reports of the success of the auction. However in July 1926, four months later, the estate was being advertised as having blocks from £45. The subdivision is on the south west corner of Boronia and Ringwood (now Dorset) Roads. It extends westward to Daffodil Avenue (now Tulip Crescent) and south to Springfield Road and Cypress Avenue. Lots 1 to 27 have been incorporated into the park.
