Description
A large subdivision of approximately 150 acres into ½, 1, 2 and 3 acre blocks. Amazing that someone would develop such a size in 1888. Would there be the demand? I could find no reports on the success of sale on the day but there were advertisements running in June 1888 asking purchasers to tender for the remaining blocks. The current layout is much as was planned in 1888, Farnham, Auburn and Graceburn Roads have kept their names and the government roads are Don, Thomas and Wallace Parade.
