Another imaginative post from Troedel & Co..  It features images of the Maidstone post office, Powell’s Commercial Hotel, a view of Melbourne from the site of Queens Street Bridge and maybe a public building in Maidstone.  The graphic artist however, gets a zero for map layout, north is facing the bottom of the page. The map could easily have been flipped vertically. Some of the street names have been changed overtime which further complicates things. Up for auction are 217 lots bounded in the north by Norfolk Street, in the east by Studley Street, the south by Albert Facey Street (previously Hill Street) and in the west by Thomson Street (previously O’Connell Street.  Running through the development are Howard and Madden Streets.
