Description
This is the first of 2 auctions for this subdivision. the second was on the 17th of November 1888. Reports on the second sale said that High Street blocks went for £12-11-0 per frontage foot, while Hutton Street went for between £8-15-0 and £7-5-0 and Ethel sold for £5-15 and Blyth sold for £5-14-0. The subdivision has changed somewhat, Paul, Crisp and Thomas Streets have gone but a Murray Street now runs east west between Yan Yean Parade (now St Georges Road) and Lloyd Street.
