The Rose photographer is on the steps of the Parliament building looking west. The clock further down Bourke Street says that it is 11:50am. The bus on the right seems to have a fair crew on board so it may be a Saturday. One can see the signs for the old 3UZ radio station, the Salvation Army, the Society restaurant and the Chop Suey Chinese restaurant.
