Description
Another fine example of the lithographer’s art from Troedel & Co. This time we have 116 lots running south down both sides of Davis and Church (now Shackell) Streets to Gosling Street (now Munro Street). On the 24th of October (18 days after the sale) the auctioneers placed an advertisement in the Age:-
“CHURCH Reserve. Coburg.— 500 ft., Highest land;
cheap. Bromfield, 16 Collins-street W., and Coburg.”
Most block of the estate had a 50 ft frontage so only 10 were left for sale – although the agent is not saying that.
