Description
A striking poster from Troedel & Co. from 1885. North is out to the right of the map – hold your head over to your right shoulder that may help. The 67 lots run south from Bell Street over Mr. Gilmour’s Residence (now the Coburg Bush Reserve and Coburg Tennis Club. The development runs down both sides of Linsey Street. When it gets to Strangway Court (blank on the map but probably Crawford Street) it expands eastward to take in both sides of Crawford Street (now Bellevue Street). It then runs south to Gosling Street (now likely to be Munro Street). It seems lots 55, 56 and 57 are now part of the West Coburg Bowling Club.
