Description
A straight forward black and white poster from 1885. The auctioneer has recorded the sale price of 16 of the 117 lots. Prices varied from 33s/6d for one inside block to £3-15-0 for the corner of Mont Albert Road and Rubens Grove. There was another auction the following week and the auctioneer advertised an upset (reserve) price of 30/-. The subdivision starts on the south side of Mont Albert Road and runs south down both sides of Stanley and Rubens to the north side of Canterbury Road. Lot 41 has a red “coloring in” – not sure why, but I’ve let it be.
