Description
The date of the auction does not appear on the poster but it was the 6th of October, 1923. Added to the poster is a clipping from The Reporter (Box Hill) of the 12th of October, 1923. It gives a summary of the sale prices an a nod to the auctioneers for moving all 110 allotments. The subdivision starts on the south side of Whitehorse Road and extends south along both sides of Ross Street and Grovedale Road and the western side of James Street to Weybridge Street.
