There were no reports on the success of the sale but ten days after the sale 5 acre farm blocks were being advertised for £75 each. These farm blocks now form part of the Edithvale-Seaford Wetland Environment Area. The streets covered include McKenzie, Mcrae, Mitchell, Railway Parade, Austin and Wells road.
